Vincent Jimmy DeNoble, 92, a lifelong Jersey City resident, passed away on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009. The Funeral is from the Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass is at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 a.m. Internment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. He retired from Penn Central Railroad in South Kearny. Jimmy was an Army World War II veteran, serving in Africa and Italy. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann (Burkavage) DeNoble; loving father of James and wife, Barbara DeNoble, Theresa Terry DeNoble, and the late Linda A. Granato; dear brother of the late Vito, William, Pat, Ernest, Susan, Margie, Barbara, Anna and Rita; devoted grandfather of Linda, Mark and James Jr. DeNoble and Christa and Damon Granato; cherished great-grandfather of Damon and Analyse Granato and Angela Krousek; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was the last survior of 11 brothers and sisters.
