Funeral was Saturday, Oct. 16, at Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey. Pastor Walter Teske officiated. Burial was in the Burt-Mullett Cemetery, Cheboygan County.
She was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Mount Clemens, the daughter of Herbert and Edna (Goeschel) Hohf. She grew up and attended school in St. Clair Shores, graduating from South Lake High School in 1943.
On Feb. 11, 1945, she married Lawrence Archer in Detroit and he survives. The couple made their home in Mount Clemens until 1956 when they moved to Burt Lake where they have been since.
Mrs. Archer had been employed as a computer operator with Cheboygan Title Co. in Cheboygan for the past several years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; one daughter, Suzann Noel and her husband Roger of Brutus; one son, Mark Archer of Brutus; two granddaughters, Christian and Joyel Noel; one sister, Leona Lempke and her husband, Leslie of Brutus one brother, Roland "Mike" Hohf and his wile Janet of Lost Lake, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
