ROY. Sean Collin Carson, 66, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at his home from heart failure. He was born May 30, 1938 in Oakland, California, the son of William and Hazel O'Conner Carson. He married Vita Marie Chipponeri. They later divorced. He married Karleen Little on March 2, 1968 in Elko, Nevada. Sean was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a truck driver and Fleet Manager at IMCO, PST, US Express. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Sean loved motorcycles, snowmobiles and sailing on the Great Salt Lake. He was an avid gun collector and accomplished marksman. He enjoyed the great outdoors and spending time with close friends while camping and fishing. Ron, Vaughn, Gayland and Arlen Kester considered Sean as a brother and treated him as family. Karleen, his wife, was his closest friend and included her in his many adventures. His neighbors enjoyed his company and in the last few years of his life he became very close to his next door neighbor Jeff Allred. Sean will be greatly missed by all who he touched with his keen sense of humor and wit. Surviving is his wife Karleen of Roy; children: Celeste Fairbanks of California; Renee Carson of Washington; Sean C. Carson Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-daughter Tamara L. Espin of Roy; step-daughter Teresa L. Haney of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren. Friends and family gathered at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West on Monday, Sept. 6, 2004.
