Funeral services for Tarlton Wilson, 86, Wapello Civil War Veteran who died at Burlington hospital Sunday, will be held at the Ed Kallenberger home in south Wapello at 2:30 this afternoon.... He was born near Davenport, Feb. 3, 1846, and spent most of his life in Iowa. He lived in Kansas several years as a young man and was a member of the Sixth Kansas cavalry during the Civil war. Mr. Wilson was married to Miss Sarah Vance, April, 1867. The couple had no children, but Mrs. Harry Melon of Los Angeles, a foster daughter, and Mrs. Melon's daughter, Mrs. Ed Kallenbarger, were reared by them. Mrs. Wilson preceded her husband in death a number of years ago
