His is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jan; daughter, Kelli (Karl) Kurtz of Coral Springs FL; son, Steve Brooks Oltman of Miami Beach FL; brother, Ray of Minonk IL; four sisters: Rachel Seggerman of Chenoa IL; Norma Newman of New Port Richey FL; Fran Hupprich of Morton IL; Patricia Dalziel of New Lenox IL; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Oltman and Carolyn Oltman.
Mr. Oltman owned Village Hardware in Miami Springs FL for many years. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Mahi Shrine Temple. He was an avid sportsman, a graduate of Minonk High School, and served four years in the Air Force, stationed in Alaska.
