Hon. Alonzo Macomber, who for over forty years was a resident of this village, died Sunday at Keesviile, Essex county, in the 86th year of his age. His remains were brought to this place for interment Wednesday morning, and were placed in Grove Cemetery.
The deceased while a resident of this village held the office of Justice of the Peace for a number of years, and in 1861 represented the county of Schenectady in the assembly.
He leaves many friends and relatives in this community to mourn his loss.
