Dale H. Miller, 57, of 601 Holiday Road, died Wednesday at University Hospitals following a brief illness.
Born June 19, 1927, at Ashland, Wis., he attended the University of Iowa. He was a veteran of World War II and married Lois J. Shera on June 19, 1948, in Iowa City. He worked as a lab technician in the microbiology department in the Bowen Science Building at the U of I.
Surviving are his wife two sons, Larry A. Seaton and W. Hal Miller, both of Coralville; one daughter, Susan J. of Davenport; one brother, Harvey of Iowa City; one sister, E. Alaire Miller of Iowa City; and three grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at George L. Gay's, where friends may call after noon Friday. Burial: Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
