Death Claims 5 Year Old Son of O. Berkedal
John Edward Berkedal, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Berkedal, 708
North Twelfth Street, died at the Holy Family hospital at 6 o’clock this
morning, the demise being due to an attack of spinal meningitis. The funeral
will be held from the home at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon with services at
the First Lutheran church, the Rev. David Ristad officiating. Burial will be
at Evergreen. Deceased was born March 3, 1921 and is survived by his parents
and one brother, Robert, aged two and a half years.
