BODY BROUGHT HERE IN STREET CAR FOR BURIAL
Gebhard Bentley, Dead at Two Rivers, Long lived Here
Gerhard (sic) Bentley, a pioneer resident of this city, and for years
employed
as a teamster here, died at Two Rivers Saturday afternoon and the body was
brought here via street car this afternoon for burial at Evergreen
cemetery.
Mr. Bentley’s death followed an illness of two months’ duration.
Born in the town of Rapids, November 5, 1887, Mr. Bentley had spent most of
his life in this city. Following the death of his wife six years ago, Mr.
Bentley spent his time between this city and Two Rivers, making his home
with
his daughter, Mrs. Edward Lemere.
Two sons and two daughters and one brother and a sister survive Mr. Bentley.
