Walter C. Bentley, 64, of 428 North Fifth street, Manitowoc, died Monday morning,
following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer funeral home,
Manitowoc. Dr. C. H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Manitowoc in 1886 and in 1907 married Miss Lillian Groll. The
latter died in 1948. Mr. Bentley retired three years ago.
Survivors are four sons, Gordon, Orville and Bernie of Manitowoc and Walter E.
of Whitelaw; daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Zeman of Manitowoc; two brothers, Oscar and
Henry of Manitowoc; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
