Funeral services for Oscar C. Bentley, 76, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, who died
Thursday, will be at 11:15 a.m. Monday at Phipps Memorial Chapel of First
Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Bentley was born Nov. 20, 1890, at Manitowoc, son of the late Henry and
Clara Bentley. He followed the carpenter trade and worked for Manitowoc Seating
Co. and Burger Boat Co. Inc. He then turned to farming and for 30 years farmed
north of Shoto with Erna and Edwin Nickels.
Survivors are a brother, Henry of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. Two brothers
and two sisters preceded him in death.
