FRANK BENISHEK (d. 1948)

Frank Benishek Sr., 86, of route 5, Manitowoc, died early today at the farm
home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home, Dr. C. H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Benishek was born in Czechoslovakia in 1861 and came here 10 years later
with his parents. He married Miss Emma Strouf in 1891 and located on the present
homestead, northwest of the city.
He is survived by his wife; six sons, Alderman Emil Benishek of this city, Anton
and Frank of Route 5, Manitowoc, Edward of Maribel, Charles of New Salem, N.D.,
and Adolph of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. M. A. Nemetz of this city and Mrs.
Benjamin Delsmann of route 2, Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Shimek of this
city and Mrs. Jennie Wondra of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren and nine great grand-
children.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Frank Benishek Sr., 86, of route 5, Manitowoc, died early today at the farm
