Mrs. Frank Benishek, 89, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Saturday at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness. Funeral services will be
at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Shlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with
the Rev. Gervase Zanotti officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
She was born Emma Strouf April 20, 1873, in the Town of Gibson, daughter
of the late John and Anna Musil Strouf. She was married to Frank Benishek
Nov. 19, 1891, at Manitowoc. The couple operated a farm. Her husband died
in 1948. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Among survivors are five sons, Edward of Maribel, Frank of Rt. 2, Manitowoc,
Charles of New Salem, N.D., Adolph of Milwaukee and Emil of Manitowoc; two
daughters, Mrs. Matt A Nemetz of Manitowoc and Mrs. Bernard Delsmann of
Rt. 4, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Dewane of Star Rt., Denmark,
and Mrs. Rose Pfingsten of Mishicot; 22 grandchildren and 31 great
grandchildren.
