AMOS BENINGHAUS

Amos M. Beninghaus, 84, of 2736 13th Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday afternoon at North Ridge Care Center. Funeral services will be 7 pm Friday evening at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels. Deacon Kenneth Coenen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born June 16, 1906 at Pulcifer, Wisconsin, son of the late Alvin and Mattie Zink Beninghaus. He attended grade school. He married the former Helen Sowoski. She preceded him in death in 1960. On April 25, 1966 he married the former Eva Richard at Manitowoc. He was employed as a Machinist at Kohler Co. for 18 years, Imperial Eastman for 18 years. For 8 years the couple operated the Blue Ribbon Tavern in Two Rivers and prior to his retirement he was employed at Paragon Electric Co.
Survivors include his wife, three sons and daughters-in-law, Romy and Mary Lou of Two Rivers, Ronald and Maureen of Indiana, Wayne and Shirley of Ohio; two step sons and a step daughter-in-law, Donald and Lillian Osmunson of Two Rivers and Elton Osmunson of Georgia; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Vi of Milwaukee; a sister, Marcella Torke of Sheboygan; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 4-8 pm Friday evening.
