ROSE BELINSKE

Mrs. Oscar Belinske, 84, formerly of 1319 Washington St., Manitowoc, who had
been residing since January at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Episcopal Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. William Harvey will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Belinske was born Feb. 8, 1882, at Kossuth, daughter of the late Antone
and Mary Wilda. She was graduated from the old Northside High School and was
employed by Schuette Bros. before her marriage to Oscar Belinske at Manitowoc.
The couple operated the Old German House Tavern and the Belinske Meat Market.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1947. Two sisters and four brothers also
preceded her in death. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Tuesday until 10 a.m. Friday when the casket will be taken to church to lie
in state until time of service.

Friends are tendering congratulations to Miss Rose Wilda, of the
Schuette Bros. Co. store, and Oscar Belinski, manager of the German
House, the engagement of the couple having been announced. A diamond
on the finger of Miss Wilda, a gift from Mr. Belinski, revealed the
secret. The wedding date has not been announced.
