OSCAR I. BELINSKE

Oscar I. Belinske, 62, of 1317 Washington street, retired Manitowoc hotel
operator and meat market proprietor, died last night.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, and there will be blessing rites at the St. Boniface
church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. There will be
a funeral mass at the church at 9 a.m. Monday.
Mr. Belinske was born in this city in 1884 and operated the American House
on South Eighth street for 10 years. He then purchased the Schaefer meat
market at 14th and Washington streets, which he operated for 20 years,
retiring six years ago. He was a member of the Eagles and the Holy Name
society.
In 1917 he married Miss Rose Wilda of this city. She survives with two sisters,
Mrs. Joseph Kestly and Mrs. Adolph Hrudka, both of this city.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where the
rosary will be recited at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Friends are tendering congratulations to Miss Rose Wilda, of the
Schuette Bros. Co. store, and Oscar Belinski, manager of the German
House, the engagement of the couple having been announced. A diamond
on the finger of Miss Wilda, a gift from Mr. Belinski, revealed the
secret. The wedding date has not been announced.
