Adolph E. (sic) Belinske, 65 (above), Manitowoc chiropractor, died early today
at the home, 713 Washington street. He had been in failing health two years.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home and at 9 o’clock at St. Boniface church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Belinske was born in this city in 1880 and when a young man attended a
chiropractic school at Antigo. Returning to Manitowoc, he opened an office on
Washington street, which he conducted until retiring five years ago, when the
business was taken over by his son, Adolph Jr. In 1940 he erected a business
block, occupied by dentists and physicians, at 709 Washington street.
Forty-one years ago he married Miss Laura Bahr. She survives with a son,
Adolph Jr. of this city; daughter, Mrs. Arnold Schlei of this city; brother,
Oscar of this city; and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Kestley and Mrs. Adolph Hrudka,
both of this city.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will
be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
