Levi Z. Belgum, 85, of 2474 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, June 19, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Belgum was born March 25, 1897, at Mishicot, son of the late Emerick and Margaret Ploeckelman Belgum. He was employed at the United States Post Office in Manitowoc for 36 years, retiring in 1957. Mr. Belgum then worked part time for Paragon Electric Company as a maintenance man. He married Mattie Ray in 1930 at Milwaukee. Mr. Belgum was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and National Association of letter carriers branch no. 490 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church from noon until the hour of services.
