Mrs. Lillian E. Beitzel, 84, of 316 Riverview Drive, Manitowoc, died Tuesday,
Aug. 28,, 1990 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will
be 9:30 am Friday at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Boniface
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by
Rev. Justin Pierce with burial at Evergreen.
She was born July 13, 1906 at Brillion, Wis., daughter of the late Peter and Emma
Schneider Hnsen. Mrs. Beitzel and her husband, Harold owned and operated Beitzel's
Bar in Manitowoc from 1939 to 1969. She married Harold Beitzel in November 25,
1927 in Brillion, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of St.
Boniface Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, H. Richard (Corrine) Beitzel and James (Sandi) Beitzel,
all of Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law, Pauline Beitzel of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren;
six great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the
Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 5-8 pm Thursday. A prayer service will be held at
7:30 pm led by Rev. Pierce.
