Charles Beers here received a telegram from St. Louis on Thursday last week
reporting that his 31-year old son Charles had died suddenly in a hotel there.
The deceased was employed as a glass worker for many years in Chicago but had
to give up his position recently because of illness. No one had anticipated
that the end was so near. Mr. Beers immediately traveled to St. Louis and brought
the body here. The funeral was held Monday.

wife nee Bonk. He died Feb. 21, 1906 in St. Louis of a gunshot wound.
The coroner's jury verdict was accident not suicide. - St. John's United
