CLARA BECKER
Mrs. Oscar H. Becker, 85, of Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Becker, nee Clara Holsen, was born April 29, 1884, at Alma Center, Wis., daughter of the late Anton and Anna Helwig Holsen. She moved to Manitowoc as a young girl where she was married to Oscar Becker Oct. 12, 1905. They resided there ever since. Her husband preceded her in death April 20, 1953. Mrs. Becker attended Manitowoc public schools and the old Manitowoc Business College. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors for 55 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard P. Staeffler, of Oceanside, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. William C. Beduhn, of Two Rivers; a grandson, Richard F. Staeffler, of California; and a great grandson. A daughter and a son preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
