Mrs. Caroline G. Beck, 89, formerly of 719 S. 18th St. Manitowoc, died
Saturday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First reformed
United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Schultz will
officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Beck, nee Caroline Foerster, was born Sept. 7, 1886 in the Town
of Kossuth, daughter of the late Leonhard and Apolina Theuringer
Foerster. She attended schools in the Town of Kossuth and was married
to George Beck Feb. 1, 1911, at Manitowoc. She and her husband farmed
and operated a retail dair for 25 years until Mr. Beck's death in
1941. She moved to Manitowoc to reside in 1945. She was a member of
First Reformed United Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, George and Kenneth and a daughter, Mrs.
Ervin (Vivian) Wilke, of Manitowoc, eight grand-children and six
great-grandchildren. Two brothers and seven sisters preceded her in
death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 5 to 9 o'clock
this Tuesday evening and at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the
time of service.
