Mrs. John Beatka, 69, of 1331 S. 17 St., Manitowoc, died at the home Thursday
afternoon after an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
with the Rev. Richard Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Lillian Engel was born at Manitowoc Nov. 8, 1890, daughter of the
late Carl and Frederica Schroeder Engel. She was married to George Park who
died in 1940. She was married to John Beatka in Iowa Feb. 7, 1942.
Surviving are the husband, a sister, Mrs. Erma Bordner, of Detroit, and a
brother, Albert Engel, of Manitowoc. Five sisters and a brother preceded her in
death.
