Mrs. Leona Dart Succumb at 90
Groton - Mrs. Leona Bogue Dart, 90, of 3 Miami Court, Poquonnock Bridge, died early today at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow o Robert M. Dart, who died in 1949.
A life-long resident of Poquonnock Bridge, Mrs. Dart was born there June 3, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bogue.
She was a Member of First Baptist Church of New London.
Survivors are a son, Robert M. Dart, Jr., of Mystic; four daughters, Mrs. John Hollis of Blythe, Calif., Mrs. Arthur Kaiser of Groton, Mrs. Mae Manchester of Mystic and Mrs. Ida Burgess of Uncasville; 31 grandchildren, and a number of great and great-great-grandchildren
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church & Allen Funeral Home, Mystic. Burial will be in Starr Cemetery.
