Walter was a veteran of the Korean War, Deacon Emeritus of Macedonia Baptist Church in Arlington, VA, a lifelong Mason, Prince Hall Affiliation and a Shriner.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Estelle; four sisters, two daughters, three sons and their wives, a brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great=great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son.
Viewing will be Tuesday, July 24 at 9 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3412 S. 22nd Street, Arlington VA, followed by funeral at 11 a.m. Internment Pleasant Valley Memorial Park.
