She married Ruford Crain on December 28, 1947.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruford Dennis Crain; parents, James C. Thomas and Oda L. Thomas; 4 brothers, Jule William Thomas, Rudolph Clinton Thomas, James "Teddy" Thomas, and Raymond E. Thomas; brother-in-law, Aubry Trusty.
Margie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William Dennis Crain and Phyllis Crain of Monroe, La; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Crain Hannah and William Herman Hannah of Oak Grove, La; 3 sisters and brother-in-laws, Carolyn Elizabeth Chapman and Troy Chapman of Rocky Branch, La, Myrtle Ola Trusty of Oak Grove, La, Mary Lou Hammett and Lavelle Hammett of Oak Grove, La; sister-in-law, Lucille Thomas of Portland, Or; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Marilyn Davis; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
