Onie Leslie Burt
Onie Leslie Burt died yesterday at 3 p.m. in his home at 228 West Summit Street after a short illness. He was 72 years old.
Born Dec. 28, 1874 in Indiana, he had lived in this vicinity and at Clayton for the last 50 years. He was employed by the New York Central Railroad for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Ypsilanti; two sons, John W. Burt of Ypsilanti and Floyd Burt of Adrian; one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Kriest of Toledo; and one brother John Burt of Toledo. Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Braun Funeral Home, the Rev. Vance Miller officiating. The burial will be in the North Dover Cemetery.
