Jennie E. (Follett) Totman, age 97, of Plymouth, died July 24, 2012 at the Milford Care and Rehab Center in Milford. She was the devoted wife of the late James Gilbert Totman. Jennie was the loving mother of Gilbert Totman of E. Wareham, Jeannette Palazini and her husband Albo of Sutton, MA and FL, Beverly Eaton and her late husband Richard of Hopkinton, MA and FL, and step-mother of James Jr. of Perham ME, Charles of Philadelphia, PA, and Robert Totman of Framingham, MA. Jennie had 17 grandchildren, as well as two that predeceased her; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jennie was born in Walpole, MA, Aug. 10, 1914, daughter of the late Lucious and Emily (Hurd) Follett. She was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1933, and later went on to work as a school lunch dietitian for over 19 years, retiring in 1973. Jennie enjoyed playing cards and bingo and loved to travel. A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10 till 11 a.m., followed by a service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
