"James H. Adams, son of the late Warren Adams of Wildcat, died suddenly of heart disease at Crawfordsville, Indiana, Thursday of last week, and was brought to his home in this county for burial. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at two o'clock form the new Presbyterian Church near Cutler, Indiana, Reverends Parker and Koutz officiating, after which the remains were interred in Ball Hill Cemetery. Young Adams was attending Wabash College preparing himself for the ministry, and had prospects of a bright future before him. He was held in high esteem by those who knew him as a young man of Christian proclivities and sterling worth. He was struck down just as he was entering manhood, being but twenty-five years of age. About twenty of his fellow classmates accompanied the remains from Crawfordsville to the church and in a well written address attested their respect for the deceased."
