She was born June 5, 1931, in Whitley City, Ky., and came to Bradenton in 1975 from Tampa. She was a sales clerk for Eckerd Corp. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bradenton.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly D. Merz of Bradenton; a son, Gordon T. of Ferguson, Ky.; and one grandchild.
The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Bradenton. Interment will be in Somerset, Ky. The Good Earth Crematory is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
