Harry Franklin Bortz, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Bortz, died at the Reading Hospital at 12:15 am Sunday of meningitis, aged 37 years. Deceased's father died 3 years ago and his mother 2 months ago. Deceased is survived by his widow, Sarah (nee Berg), and one son and 4 daughters: Arthur D., Carrie M.L., Rosa D., Nora E., and Alice A. Also the following brothers and sisters: Dr. D.W. Bortz of Jacksonwald; Jonathan of Pinegrove, Schuylkill Co.; Mrs. Adaline Fritch of Bethlehem; Mrs. Emma Nuss of Boyertown; and Mrs. Rosa Schaeffer of Maxatawny. Internment at Longswamp cemetery. Deceased was born in Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh County. Deceased lived with his family at () South 7th Street to which place Undertaker Auman took the remains.
