BAREY — James Edward Barry, 75, of 710 E. Sixth St. died yesterday at his home. A native of Peoria, Ill., he came from there to Long Beach in 1921. He was an apartment house owner and operator and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Parish.
Surviving are the widow, Julia E.; three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Christian of Artcsia, Mrs. Margaret Westwood of Long Beach and Mrs. Nona Brackenfield of Long Beach; a son, John C. Barry of Compton; a brother, George Barry of Elsie, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Edward Burke of Compton, great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited tonight at 7 o'clock in the chapel of Sheelar-McFadyen Mortuary. Requiem mass will be offered Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Antony's church. Temporary entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum pending interment in All Souls' cemetery, Long Beach.
