Jimmy was born June 3, 1977 in Iowa City, Iowa to Rick & Kathy (Minks) Foust.
He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1995 and attended the University of Iowa, Kirkwood Community College and graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy.
Jimmy worked as a massage therapist in Biloxi, Mississippi for several years before moving to Phoenix, where he attended Mundus Golf Institute. While in Phoenix Jimmy managed a golf course.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing, going to spring training baseball games, the Iowa Hawkeyes and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his parents; Rick & Kathy Minks-Foust of Signourney; one sister; Sarah Zimmerman and husband Matt of Parnell; grandparents; Skip & Joanne Jemison of Signourney and 3 nephews; Keaton, Zachary and Brody Zimmerman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents William & Julia Foust .
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Oct. 24, 2006 at the Signourney United Methodist Church with Rev John Hembry officiating.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Signourney.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday Oct. 23, 2006 at the church.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Keokuk County.
