She married Oscar Andrew Morris in 1917 and they had four children (listed below). After Oscar was killed in 1925, she went to work for Kings Candy Company in Fort Worth, Texas. She later married Henry Wywias who died Dec 1965.

3 daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Morris-Caywood of Springtown, Mrs. Carrie L Morris-Woodard of Fort Worth and Mrs. Gennieve Morris-Letondress of Providence RI. (one son, Jimmy Morris, preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1918).
