Father - Benjamin Clark (b: Cambridge, England)
Mother - Ann (b: England)

Frances Clark married James Stratton on 9 Feb 1851.

She married William H. Myers in 1859.

She was buried in Nashua, NH, on 2 Sep 1894. She was 66y 4m old when she died of cholera.

It was on the ship Ellen Maria while crossing the Atlantic Ocean en route to America (Liverpool to New Orleans, 2 Feb 1851 - 6 Apr 1851) that Frances Clark was married to James Stratton by LDS Apostle Orson Pratt on 9 Feb 1851 (Sunday).

When the Willey and Martin Handcart Companies arrive in the Salt Lake Valley, James and Frances took in Eliza Briggs (20-years old). On 12 Feb 1858 James married Eliza--entering into polygamy.

Frances went to Camp Floyd to work as a seamstress where she met William Myers. After the company of soldiers was released to return to their homes in the east, Frances eventually went east also to be with William. (William Myers is in Mooers, Clinton, New York on the 1860 Census living with his parents.) She reportedly took Maria Jane and possibly Charles William with her.

Maria and Charles are with James and Eliza on the 1860 Census. Frances has not been found on any 1860 Census. Frances is with William on the 1870 and 1880 Censuses (there is no 1890 Census).

She later returned to James to ask forgiveness and to be his wife again. Though James forgave her, he could not take her back as his wife. She returned again to the east.
