Wanda June Clayburn, 72, of Grants Pass, died Friday, July 27, 2001, at home.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hull & Hull Chapel. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

She was born June 20, 1929, in Hodgen, Okla.

She moved to Grants Pass in June of 1961 from Roaring Springs, Texas. On Oct. 20, 1962, in Reno, Nev., she married James Cletis Clayburn, who died before her.

She attended the Church of Christ.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and gardener and also liked to fish.

Survivors include two daughters, Velma Campbell of Grants Pass and Linda Patterson of Bothel, Wash.; two sons, James Chadwick and Louis "Ray" Chadwick, both of Grants Pass; six sisters, Lois O'Brien of Langley, British Columbia, Canada, Mary Sidewell of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Violet Young of Mineral Springs, Ark., Effie Dupree of Plainview, Texas, Trudy Dendy of Amarillo, Texas, and Shirley Nelson of Sun Ray, Texas; brother Thomas Brumley of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
