The whole community was shocked on Thursday morning when the sad news spread that Lloyd Dailey was dead. He died very suddenly, being sick only one day. He peacefully passed away at 6 o'clock a. m. He was a kind and good hearted and liked by all. His death was a great shock to his parents, this making the third death in their family in three years. The funeral took place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock with high mass by Father Floyd from St. Peter's Catholic church, Westernport. The services were-largely attended. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dailey, he leaves the following brothers and sisters: Thomas, George and Patrick, Misses Josephine and Mamie Dailey, all at home. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Anthony Reilley, Patrick Kenny, Mrs. Joseph Schaffer, Frank Naughton and wife, John Dailey wife, from Cumberland; Dan Collins and wife, Michael Flanigan and wife, from Mount Savage. The flower bearers were Jerry Murphy, Dan Macanlly, John Gannon, Joe Malloy, Louis Harris, John Naughton.
