She married Philip Y Horther, ca 1938. Their known children are Anne, Mary and Susan Horther.

They up housekeeping in the north end of Tacoma, joined St. Patrick's Parish, where she was active there for the rest of her life. She was proud of her volunteer activities with the Tacoma Community Chest and St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of the Weenonah Orthopedic Guild, and was an early member of Junia Todd Hallen Study Group. She was a member of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club, enjoying many days playing golf there with friends and family. She also enjoyed tennis at the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club with her friends. She was active with St. Patrick's Parish Altar Society for over fifty years. She enjoyed expressing her exquisite artistic ability as a member of her sewing circle..."
