Mrs Charles Fox died at her home here, Friday, March 17. The funeral services were conducted by Rev Lacy of the Presbyterian church, of Hinton, after which she was laid to rest in the family burying ground. Mrs Fox had been sick for six or seven months and was a patient sufferer, and often expressed her willingness to go when the Lord saw fit to all her. She leaves a husband, three sons and one sister and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.

Mrs Anges D Fox was born March 26, 1932, died March 17, 1911, aged 79 years, less seven days.

Her maiden name was Pack, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Pack, who resided at the mouth of Greenbrier river. She embraced her Savior early in life when but a girl, and united with the Presbyterian church. She lived a devout Christian life.

She was married to C R Fox on March 29, 1866, and lived for a short time at what is known as Foss or later Bellepoint, W Va.

They then moved to their present home on the banks of the beautiful New River, near Brooks, W Va, where she resided until her death. To this union there were born five sons, John, Marion, Robert, Henry and Houston. John died about twenty years ago from being crushed by falling stone while working on the railroads. Marion, who was trainman, was accidentally shot and killed at or near Handley, while looking over his train about three years ago. Robert is married and lives in Chicago. Henry is in poor health and is now in Florida. Huston is married and lives on the old home place.
