She then married Dr. Charles H. Gaylord, on Aug 25, 1874.
Mary & Charles had a son, Robert Horace Gaylord, born March 4, 1876.
Mellie is listed as a daughter of Charles Gaylord on the bottom of his passport application.
Her two brothers, Armand Stafford #9577178 and Robert Stafford #9577185 are buried in the Starr Cemetery in Groton CT, and her sister Medora Stafford Vosburch #183415767 is buried in her same plot in Cedar Grove Cem.
