HENRY BAXTER

Henry G. Baxter, 63, who resided with a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Virginia Orheim of 6912 Homestead Rd., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, July 1, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Howard Plucar will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Baxter was born July 15, 1919, at Ladysmith, Wis., son of the late Edward and Alma Harer Baxter. He married June Sanders Jan. 10, 1946, in Iowa. He had been employed with Holiday House in the woodworking department. Mr. Baxter was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army in the South Pacific and received five battle stars during his active duty. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include his wife, June, three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jeanette Orheim of Wisconsin Rapids, Oscar and Sharon Orheim of Menasha and Donald and Virginia Orheim of Manitowoc; six daughters and five sons-in-law Joyce and Jack Brain of Childersburg, Ala., Peggy Koster of Madison, Candace and Earl Winnett of Neenah, Melanie and Ken Norton of Muskego, Wis., Debra and Bruce Heimerman and Kathleen and Dale Heinzen of Manitowoc; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Irene Baxter of Baldwin, Wis., Erwin and Marge Baxter of Ladysmith, Wis., and Willis and Mary Lou Baxter of Hayfield, Minn., 27 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and at the church from 5 p.m. Saturday until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Faith Evangelical Free Church.
