CLARA BAUER

Mrs. Clara F. Bauer, 73, of 2122 LaFollette Ave., Manitowoc, died early Friday
morning, Nov. 9, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday at Parkside Funeral Home and 9 a.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will
officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Bauer was born Oct. 12, 1911, at Greenleaf, Wis., daughter of the late John
and Elizabeth Koener Leick. She graduated from Holy Family School of Nursing,
Manitowoc, in 1933. Mrs. Bauer was employed at Holy Family Hospital as a
Registered Nurse, retiring in 1971. She was married to Raymond Bauer, Sept. 24,
1940, at Greenleaf, Wis. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1977. Mrs. Bauer was
a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church and was a lifelong member of the
Christian Women of Holy Innocents.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Bauer of Manitowoc and Peter Bauer of Wauwatosa;
a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Rolf of DePere; four grandchildren, Melissa, Samantha,
Melonia and Andrew and three nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother and a
sister.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday,
where a prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday by Deacon Paul Kiefer.
