EDMUND W. BAUCH

Edmund W. Bauch, 63, of 1119 N. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday night at
his home following a coronary heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. T. F. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Bauch was born June 26, 1898, at Manitowoc, son of the late Fred and Sophie
Wicke Bauch. He moved to Birnamwood with his parents when 14 years old where he
resided six years then returned to Manitowoc.
On Sept. 29, 1923, he married the former Meta Lewis who preceded him in death
Nov. 27, 1945. He married the former Mrs. Lydia Demsien Meyer, on Nov. 16, 1948,
at Manitowoc.
He was a cabinet maker by trade, being employed with Schwantes Manufacturing Co.
of Manitowoc and later with Guse Lumber Co. of Manitowoc. From 1947 to 1957 he
was in company with Huebner Corp. of Manitowoc. In 1957 he started his own
business, known as Industrial Millwork and Manufacturing Co.
Mr. Bauch served on the church council, was a member of the church choir and Men's
Club and also a member of United Commercial Travelers.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eugene Bauch and Harlan Demsien of Manitowoc;
three brothers, Carl of Sunland, Calif., Herbert of Mineral Point and Elton of
Burnamwood; a sister, Mrs. Nick Christel of Green Bay and five grandchildren. Two
sisters and two brothers also preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until noon Saturday when the
casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until the hour
of service. Memorials may be made to the church.
