Stephen D. Bast, age 29,, of Milwaukee, Wis., died Friday, Dec.20, 1991 of cancer at the St. Mary's Hospice Center in Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec.27, 10:00 am at the Pfeffer Funeral Home in Manitowoc. Officiating the service will be Deacon William Klein with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
He was born Dec. 30, 1961 in Manitowoc, Wis., son of Donald and Judith Peronto Bast. He was a graduate of the Nicolet High School of Glendale, Wis., Class of 1980 and was employed as a tool and die maker with the Tulip Corporation of Milwaukee. Stephen was an avid fisherman and camper also active in Milwaukee's dart league. One of his life's passions was his collection of tropical fish, maintaining several aquariums at his residence.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Judth Peronto Bast of Fox Point, Wis., one sister, Susan Bast of Ft. Worth, Texas; a son, Jeremy of Milwaukee; his maternal grandparents, Roland and Eleanore Peronto of Manitowoc; his paternal grandmother, Hildegard off Two Rivers. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral home, Thursday evening from 4 pm until 8 pm where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm by the Deacon William Klein and Friday morning from 9 am until the time of service.
