SANTAMOUR, Edward H. - Of Clio, age 74, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Friday, March 24, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Rev. Vernon Lawrence officiating with burial following at Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home 4-8PM Wednesday, 12-9PM Thursday and 9AM until time of the service on Friday. Wednesday evening at 7PM there will be an Eagles Memorial Service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Athsma Foundation or the Santamour Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Edward was born September 26, 1931 in Alpena, Michigan son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Ida (Arbuckle) Santamour. He lived in Alpena until 1963 and then resided in the Clio area. Ed served his country in Korea with the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he served as a merchant marine on the Great Lakes. In 1963, he began working with General Motors in Grand Blanc. He was a member of the UAW Local #1292 and served on many committees for thirty plus years. Ed enjoyed playing shuffle board, softball, horseshoes, watching Michigan Football, Detroit Lions and the Red Wings. His hobbies were working in different areas with the Eagles and Moose. Ed is survived by his wife, Patricia; five children, Becky and husband Mark Weber of Oxford, Mike Santamour of Bellville, Jenny and husband Tony Boyd of Ithica, Wayne Santamour of Oxford and Leisha and husband Gene Tackabury of Clio; three step-children, Sherry and husband Scott Eatinger of Dearborn, Ed and wife Vicki Kemp of Garden City and Michael Kemp of Dearborn Heights; ten grandchildren, Alieenth, Jason, Alan, Shannon, Charlene, Holly, Wayne, Elizabeth, Holly and Andrew; one great-granddaughter, Alexis; several nieces and nephews; sister, Ann and husband Art Livermore of Davison; brother, Richard and wife Anita Santamour of Flint and brother, Larry and wife Pat Santamour of Gladwin.
