William W Brewer, 74 years old, died here, funeral services being conducted at Providence church in Lawrence County by
the Rev. T. L. Price of Tylertown and the Rev W. A. Gill of McComb. Interment was made in the cemetery there. Three of his sons, C T, I C, and A N Brewer are merchants in McComb. Other surviving children are L M Brewer of Hernando, Mrs. F W Farrell of Laurel, Mrs J D Ham, Monticello, Mrs R L Lester, Dallas, Tex, Mrs. Johnnie Dunaway, McComb. The community loved Mr Brewer, he was a grand old man with a glorious life behind him. He was a true Christian, a faithful citizen. The community grieves with the family when such men pass on.
