DECATUR — George R. Morgan, 81, of Decatur died 2:38 p.m. Tuesday (May 15, 1990) in his home.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until services Friday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Memorials: Alzheimer's Association.
Mr. Morgan was born in Boulder, son of Joseph and Anna Kitchen Morgan. He was a retired carman for Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He married Eva Washburn in 1937 in St. Louis, Mo.
Surviving are his sons, Doanld R. of Overland Park, Kan.; Gary R. of Decatur; daughters, Darlene Green and Sharlene Hemmerlein, both of Decatur; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Two brothers, five sisters and one grandchild preceded him in death.
