Dolores A. "Fran" Molchan, age 66, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2003. Dolores has been a lifelong area resident living in Valparaiso for the past 30 years.
Fran was born in Gary, Indiana on January 28, 1936 to Joseph and Helen Franczak.
Fran was a long-time employee of Flamingo Pizza on 45th in Glen Park and had been employed at Waters of Duneland in Chesterton for many years. For the past few years, Dolores has been the primary care giver for her sister Lorraine. Fran will be greatly missed by Lorraine and by Lorraine's son as well as so many other family and friends.
Fran is survived by two children, Greg "Al" Molchan of Valparaiso and Desi Molchan of Valparaiso; three grandchildren: Greg (Leah) Molchan II of Grand Rapids, MI, Tabitha (boyfriend, Phil) Molchan of Grand Rapids, MI, Desiree Furdo of LaPorte; two brothers, Joe (Mary) Franczak of Hobart, Micky (Carol) Adamus of Alorida, three sisters, Kathy Drummond of Hobart, Lorraine Gilarski of Hobart, Mary Ann (George) Skundrich of Illinois; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Franczak, husband, Steve Molchan and brother, Ed Franczak.
