Mrs. Lilian Francis Dorris, 68, 809 1/2 North Tenth Street, died at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at her home, following an apparent heart atttack.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hughey- Pulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Everett Lemay officiating. Burial will be in New Shiloh Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the hughey-Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. today.
Mrs. Dorris was born May 2, 1905, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Dave and Cora (Poole) Norman.
She was married to Scheley Dorris in Nashville, IL He died May 2, 1963.
Survivors include one son, Delmar W. Dorris of Mt. Vernon, one granddaughter, Mrs. Sue Ann Elliott of Warren, IL; one grandson, Don Dorris, of Woodlawn; and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dorris was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, and was Past Noble Grand of Varnell Rebekah Lodge 289 in the year 1959. She joined the lodge in March 1947.
