MRS. HETTIE ISTER DIES AT THE AGE OF 57; NINE CHILDREN SURVIVE HER
Hettie Katherine Ister, wife of Charles H. Ister of 820 East High street, died at 7 o'clock last night. Death was due to heart trouble and dropsy.
Mrs. Ister was born in Snyder county, Pennsylvania, on February 16, 1861. The immediate survivors are the husband; 2 sons by her first husband, John Oscar Gilbert of this city and William I. Gilbert of Colby, Wash.; two daughters by her second husband, Mrs. Emma Andrew of Warsaw and Mrs. Esther Smith of this city; and the following children of her last marriage: Grover Ister of Edwardsburg, Mrs. Frank C. Sparr and Mrs. Verl Stewart, both of whom live just east of the city, and Jessie and Luella Ister, who are at home.
The funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday, conducted by Rev. J.D. Brosy of Grace Lutheran church. The burial will take place in Rice cemetery.
